Project Overview
A visual identity shaped by connection, transformation, and continuous exchange.
Liquen creates encounters between different fields of knowledge, exploring the relationships between philosophy, biology, art, and contemporary life. The identity needed to reflect this interdisciplinary perspective while making complex subjects feel inviting and relevant.
The Aproach
Inspired by the collaborative nature of lichen itself, the visual language brings together organic forms, delicate textures, photography, and editorial typography. These elements interact rather than compete, creating compositions that feel contemplative, tactile, and constantly evolving.
The system balances consistency with experimentation, allowing each topic to develop its own atmosphere while remaining recognizably part of Liquen.
The Visual System
The identity was developed as a flexible framework for digital and editorial content. Typography establishes clarity and structure, while imagery, texture, and color introduce emotion and visual depth.
Reusable templates and compositional principles made it possible to create a consistent flow of content without making the platform feel repetitive or static.
Outcome
The resulting identity gives Liquen a cohesive and adaptable visual presence. It supports an ongoing publishing rhythm while preserving the platform’s curious, organic, and interdisciplinary character.
